For the first time, a world championship in dog dancing with over 100 starters from 19 nations and the Petsummit, a social media congress for the pet industry, took place as part of the pet fair. The world record for the longest Duplo railway was broken at the game fair, the themes “beautiful living” and “children’s happiness” celebrated their premiere in the creative, the new “healthy building” area was presented to visitors at family and home, and vegan athletes met on the veggie and free of. This is an outstanding value for public fairs. In school grades, there was a slippery “two” from visitors. Nine out of ten visitors said they found exactly the right offer for them at the fair.
“Successful premiere!” Is the conclusion of Vacano’s latest event at the Stuttgart trade fair autumn. “A big thank you to our four facilitators, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, experimenta – the Science Center, Paul Horn GmbH and the Neckar-Alb region!” At over 150 maker stations, visitors large and small for technology and science, Let art and culture inspire and become active yourself. Eva Siebel from event management at experimenta – the Science Center: “We are spot on, because people who have an affinity for technology and science come to this fair, people who like to tinker. The eyes of all ages were shining across generations, which was very nice to see. The model builders were also totally interested. We got into extensive discussions with many visitors and were able to present ourselves comprehensively. ”Daniel Wittig, instructor at Paul Horn GmbH, said:“ We presented projects here that we implement with our trainees. This was enthusiastically received, especially on Thursday and Friday by the school classes, but there were also many interested visitors among the families at the weekend. We could explain illustrate and inform about the job description of the industrial mechanic. It is particularly important today to be present at such trade fairs! ”
For Tania Teschner from the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung’s communication, the Morgenmacher Festival is “a beautiful format that brings everyone together and offers a very diverse view of the topic. People came together who wanted to create something. We were of course in good hands as a foundation. The interest was very high, especially our student inventions appealed to the visitors. The highlight was our ‘Expedition D’ to digital job profiles. “

It was amazing how well the halls were filled on Friday. Our specialist staff had many good discussions and our entire range was in high demand. It’s great how many people you can mobilize here. The new three-day concept seems to be working. ”

I am more than satisfied with the response and I expect further good development in the next few years. “Arne Schumacher, Managing Director of Kunst & Kreativ, said:” We are very satisfied. From the beginning, the trade fair went even better than last time, so that we were able to record an increase in sales compared to 2018. I really like the Stuttgart audience: the people were in a great mood, they are all very good customers. We are consistently well received here, which is why we will be here again in 2020! ”
At the games fair, board games were particularly popular with more than half of the visitors. The game island with its novelties and the offers for younger guests were also at the forefront in terms of popularity – and were also reflected in the permanent game tables. We were able to record an economic increase for the fourth year in a row and are very satisfied. “Erik Amels, Product Manager at Hubelino, said:” Our ball track was first presented at the game fair, here we laid the foundation for our business. In 2012 we were in Stuttgart with 100 kits and said: ‘If we sell them, we will continue.’ The goods went away and it stayed that way. A lot of people have come to us every year since then and buy our new products. And there is an increase every year, this time too! “

We’ll be happy to come back to the next veggie and free of! “Julia Parker, stand manager at Timo Parker Natural Cosmetics:” We are pleased that we met so many vegan and interested people here. Our products were very well received. We received a lot of positive feedback, including from customers who had bought from us last year. We were also able to acquire a large number of new customers. Some even came several times on different days and always bought something from us. The trade fair effect was even felt in the online shop! ”
Household and kitchen items as well as offers for health and wellness were particularly popular with visitors to the family and home this year. Klaus P. Wagner, Head of City Marketing in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, said of the Fildergemeinde’s appearance: “There are many positive things to report! There was a lot going on every day! We took the chance of a complete relaunch and presented ourselves more as a city, which was very well received. This showed us that we are on the right track. This is how we want to continue! ”Christian Karrer, Area Manager at Armstark, added:“ This time, the crowd was a bit more compressed, and I also had the impression that there were more people at the fair overall. There was a good frequency at our stand.
Offers for model railroaders were the focus of this year’s model and technology. As part of the European N-Scale Convention, huge exhibition facilities could be admired. Model train clubs from across the country presented impressive layouts in a wide variety of gauges. In addition, unique replicas of the Cannstatter Wasens and the special show “Progress with technology” were shown.
Christian Weiß, Vice President of N-Club International: “Our audience ranges from the amazed toddler to grandpa, who ideally comes back to the fair with his grandchildren. Our railway facilities were very crowded, and our children’s play areas were always in operation. We were here at the fair for the 14th time and were again very satisfied that we were able to present ourselves here. There was also a lot going on among the manufacturers, and it was sold well. ”Thomas Neumann, field sales manager at Modelleisenbahn München, said:“ The topic of model trains is on the upswing: Fortunately, digitalization has opened up a whole new audience, the mobile phone or tablet Plant control used. This connection brings our beautiful hobby closer to a young generation. I am pleasantly surprised how many families were here. All days were well attended, sales were right! “

Overall, I am satisfied and will definitely come back! ”Jörg Strinz, Managing Director at Opal Australia:“ Friday was already a good day, which continued on the weekend. For us as a Pforzheim provider, minerals, fossils, jewelry is a home game where we generate orders. We invited a lot of customers and they all came.
