Within a short time, the “new” basiCube 14 has also become one of the most popular SCANLAB products. The 24 V power supply represents an additional product advantage for integrators.
Since their debut in 2015, the basiCube scan heads have proven to be extremely easy to integrate, economical systems with high write speeds. They are often used as compact entry-level heads in the area of laser marking and for plastic 3D printing. Consequently, the scope of this product line has been continuously expanded in recent years: customers can now choose between the two aperture sizes 10 and 14 millimeters, the control protocols XY2-100 and SL2-100 as well as various wavelength variants. The entire product family is manufactured to the highest quality standards in Germany.
With the option of operating the scan head with a 24 V power supply, the basiCube 14 offers an additional advantage: The standard power supplies typically used in processing systems are now compatible with the scan system. SCANLAB thus supports its customers in optimizing the total costs of their systems.
“We are very pleased that our compact class is so well received by the market. We do everything we can to be the right solution partner for standard applications with high price pressure as well as for very demanding, individual requirements, ”commented Georg Hofner, spokesman for the management of SCANLAB GmbH, regarding the market success of basiCube.
