Funding for the relaunch of the trade fair
Small and medium-sized businesses will be supported at EuroTier / EnergyDecentral 2023.
Small and medium-sized companies will be especially supported as exhibitors at the internationally focused German trade fairs next year. The Federal Government Trade Show is supporting medium-sized companies for the second time in a program. In this program, 60 medium-sized companies that are participating in the EUROTIER exhibition are supported so that they can have more visitors and expand their connections.
Jören Holtmeier, CEO of the German Trade Fair Industry Association (AUMA), says: “The effects of the pandemic (coronavirus) make it difficult for medium-sized companies to compensate for lost orders due to the cancellation of exhibitions. Promotion and introduction of small and medium-sized exhibitors at exhibitions sets the course for a prosperous and strong financial year for the following year. Exhibitions, especially for medium-sized companies, are the best stage for attracting new customers, strengthening communication and finding new business partners. If you don’t go to an industry fair and showcase yourself there, you’re missing out.
This budget includes an allowance for renting a booth and building a booth up to 12,500 euros. Companies based in Germany that are members of the European Union as small and medium-sized enterprises, and thus have fewer than 250 employees and annual sales of up to 50 million euros, can receive this funding.
