We are looking forward to an excellent Stuttgart trade fair autumn 2019! The network of very different trade fairs has developed very well and the visitors have been thrilled, ”said Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart, at the end of this year’s fair. A total of nine parallel trade fairs enchanted 140,000 visitors. 1492 exhibitors provided for an extensive and varied offer during the past four days (November 20-24), which did not create a gloomy November mood in the exhibition halls. But on the contrary.

For Tania Teschner from the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung’s communication, the Morgenmacher Festival is “a beautiful format that brings everyone together and offers a very diverse view of the topic. People came together who wanted to create something. We were of course in good hands as a foundation. The interest was very high, especially our student inventions appealed to the visitors. The highlight was our ‘Expedition D’ to digital job profiles. “

Every day over 100 workshops, new special areas on the subject of furniture preparation and living room decoration (beautiful living) as well as sewing your own children’s clothing (children’s happiness), countless inspirations for cake bakers at Cake It, exhibitors from all disciplines of the creative scene: a mix that was well received by visitors . 94 percent want to recommend the event to their friends and acquaintances. 

Jürgen Bendig, Managing Director of the dream bakery: “Our appearance at the Kreativ was an absolute highlight! We take part in several trade fairs a year, but I have never seen a rush like this. The customers literally ran into our booth! Whether during the week or on the weekend, it was always full. I am more than satisfied with the response and I expect further good development in the next few years. “Arne Schumacher, Managing Director of Kunst & Kreativ, said:” We are very satisfied. From the beginning, the trade fair went even better than last time, so that we were able to record an increase in sales compared to 2018. I really like the Stuttgart audience: the people were in a great mood, they are all very good customers. We are consistently well received here, which is why we will be here again in 2020! ”

At the games fair, board games were particularly popular with more than half of the visitors. The game island with its novelties and the offers for younger guests were also at the forefront in terms of popularity – and were also reflected in the permanent game tables. Numerous exercise options and the long game night on Friday were also very popular. In the gallery of the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1), the huge Lego area enchanted visitors large and small. Expansive dioramas, filigree buildings, a successful Duplo railway world record, large game tables: they all ensured a good mood among the visitors. 

The good mood also spread to the exhibitors. Andreas Conzatti, Sales Manager at Spielwaren Kurtz: “The fair was more than successful for us! We sold disproportionately, which we hadn’t expected to this extent. With the new trade fair combination, we apparently reach even more family audiences. The new trade fair cooperation with our trading partner ‘Rollplay’ also worked excellently. We were able to record an economic increase for the fourth year in a row and are very satisfied. “Erik Amels, Product Manager at Hubelino, said:” Our ball track was first presented at the game fair, here we laid the foundation for our business. In 2012 we were in Stuttgart with 100 kits and said: ‘If we sell them, we will continue.’ The goods went away and it stayed that way. A lot of people have come to us every year since then and buy our new products. And there is an increase every year, this time too! “

The game “High Voltage” from Amigo Verlag won the prize for the educational game of the year awarded at the game fair. The author is Maureen Hiron, graphic artist Antje Stephan.

With its fifth edition, veggie und frei von, which for the first time filled a complete exhibition hall with 10,000 square meters, enchanted its audience. The extensive range of vegetarian and vegan foods and the opportunity to buy them directly on site were the decisive reason for over 50 percent of the visitors to visit the trade fair duo. In addition there were entertaining cooking shows and informative lectures, stars of the internet scene “to touch” as well as a huge “free of” area, which was particularly well received by visitors with food intolerances. Veggie und frei von was thus able to impressively underline its position as the leading trade fair for enjoyment and health. 

Oskar Döllinger, owner of the traditional Schleicher brewery: “We are regularly overrun here, and this time the rush was huge. The Stuttgart audience is very high quality, very concentrated. Among other things, we presented our new second brand, which will be available in retail next year, and received a very good response. The staff here at the fair is also very, very great. We’ll be happy to come back to the next veggie and free of! “Julia Parker, stand manager at Timo Parker Natural Cosmetics:” We are pleased that we met so many vegan and interested people here. Our products were very well received. We received a lot of positive feedback, including from customers who had bought from us last year. We were also able to acquire a large number of new customers. Some even came several times on different days and always bought something from us. The trade fair effect was even felt in the online shop! ”

Household and kitchen items as well as offers for health and wellness were particularly popular with visitors to the family and home this year. In addition, the trade fair offers from Leinfelden-Echterdingen, the Swabian Jura, the international kitchen trade fair from Der Kreis and the new offers on the topic of “healthy building” were very well received. 91 percent of the visitors indicated that they wanted to recommend the fair to their friends and acquaintances.

Klaus P. Wagner, Head of City Marketing in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, said of the Fildergemeinde’s appearance: “There are many positive things to report! I think the shortening of the fair duration is a good thing, because it has increased the attractiveness of the fair. The response was more compact, more concentrated and very, very good. There was a lot going on every day! We took the chance of a complete relaunch and presented ourselves more as a city, which was very well received. This showed us that we are on the right track. This is how we want to continue! ”Christian Karrer, Area Manager at Armstark, added:“ This time, the crowd was a bit more compressed, and I also had the impression that there were more people at the fair overall. There was a good frequency at our stand.

Offers for model railroaders were the focus of this year’s model and technology. As part of the European N-Scale Convention, huge exhibition facilities could be admired. Model train clubs from across the country presented impressive layouts in a wide variety of gauges. In addition, unique replicas of the Cannstatter Wasens and the special show “Progress with technology” were shown.
